The Sutherland County Show

Sat 24th July 2010. Livestock, equestrian events, handicrafts, flower shows, fairground and trade stands, meals available in catering marquee. Main ring entertainment includes: Sheep, Dog and Duck Shows, Sheep Shearing, Terrier Racing, Tug 'o' War, Pipe Band and Young Farmers' "It's a Knockout" competition.

Historylinks Museum

Dornoch Cathedral

The Cathedral dates back to 1224. Visitors are welcome to look round - a guide book is available for purchase inside.
The regular Sunday service is at 11am, and holiday makers are made most welcome.

The Forestry Commission

All within easy reach of Dornoch, Camore Wood has walks, orienteering, a fitness trail and archaeology, Skelbo Wood's walk and sculpture trail runs through open woodland, while Harriet and Tinkers Woods are suitable for walking, horse riding or cycling. Please contact us for free leaflets or maps.

Royal Dornoch Golf Club

The Championship Course, rated 9th in the world, is a links of rare subtlety. There is also a second 18 hole course - the Struie - fun for all the family. It is advisable to book the Championship Course. Handicap certificates are required for Championship course, but not for the Struie.
