In a garden in Littletown, on the way to the beach, stands the Witch's Stone. The stone commemorates the last burning of a 'witch' in Scotland. The unfortunate woman, Janet Horne, was tried and condemned to death in 1727.

But why the stone says 1722, no-one knows!
